CUNEF Universidad hosts the presentation of the “White Paper on boosting the competitiveness of Spanish capital markets”

On Monday, 8 April, BME presented its “White Paper on boosting the competitiveness of Spanish capital markets” at the Auditorium of CUNEF Universidad. The document contains a total of 56 legal, tax and regulatory measures to help Spain gain momentum in financial markets. The speakers stressed that the most thriving economies are always those with deep financial markets, and outlined the proposed measures, divided into four blocks: 

• Encourage the entry of companies into the Spanish stock markets
• Foster the channelling of investment to companies
• Attract the circulation of savings and investment in domestic markets, avoiding offshoring
• Promote the effective development of new regulated investment and financing ecosystems

David Jiménez-Blanco, Vice-Chairman of BME, and Domingo García Coto, Head of Market Research at BME, participated as speakers in the presentation, addressed at the students of CUNEF Universidad.
