CUNEF Universidad hosts the first meeting of the 2024-2025 PRME Champions

On March 13, 14 and 15, CUNEF Universidad hosted the first face-to-face meeting of the 2024-2025 PRME Champions, attended by heads of the 47 Higher Education institutions involved in this program led by the UN Global Compact. Participants shared projects and initiatives to promote the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and discussed the role of academia in the Forward Faster strategy to accelerate progress across all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the meeting, participants also analysed the role that the PRME Champions should play in the launch of the PRME Commons Digital Platform, which aims to help universities and schools around the world align their teaching and research with values of sustainability, responsibility and ethics. Additionally, participants attended   a series of lectures by CUNEF alumni who, through they companies they work in, are positively impacting society today.

In August 2020, CUNEF Universidad became a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), a UN-backed initiative that has already been signed by over 800 universities and business schools worldwide.

PRME has established six principles to ensure that academic institutions provide future leaders with the skills they need to balance economic and sustainability goals.
