CUNEF Universidad joins the United Nations Global Compact as a participant

The UN has recognised CUNEF Universidad as a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, a sustainability initiative that aims to help companies, organisations and institutions achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By joining this initiative, CUNEF Universidad commits to incorporating to its strategy sustainability standards inspired by the ten principles of the Global Compact, related to the protection of Human Rights, labour rights, and the environment, as well as the fight against corruption.

To date, the UN Global Compact has almost 25,000 participants from 167 countries. The initiative promotes learning activities, training and awareness-raising campaigns, and events on key issues for SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. This decision further strengthens CUNEF Universidad’s commitment to sustainability, after having signed the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in August 2020, and having been selected to participate in the PRME Champions Programme in 2023 and in the 2024-2025 two-year cycle.
