The report Founder Pathways in Spain: Studying the Career Journeys of Spain's Top Founders, recently published by Endeavor, ranks CUNEF Universidad as one of the top five Spanish Higher Education institutions training successful entrepreneurs. The document analyses the academic and professional background of 100 entrepreneurs who have founded companies valued at $100 million or more. Four CUNEF graduates stand out among those mentioned in the study: Francisco Alister Moreno, co-founder of Clikalia; Lupina Iturriaga, founder of Fintonic; Íñigo Juantegui, co-founder of La Nevera Roja; and Elena Betés, founder of Rastreator.
The report also highlights certain traits shared by successful entrepreneurs:
- They have a university education (94% have an undergraduate degree and 64% have graduate studies).
- On average, they worked for almost 10 years before founding the company that brought them success.
- Half of them have international work experience, and this trend is increasing.
- 65% have previous entrepreneurial experience, either as founders or working at another start-up or scale-up.
