CUNEF Universidad launches its first Moot Court Competition

CUNEF Universidad launched its first Moot Court Competition last Wednesday, 12 March. The four participating teams presented their arguments to a panel made up of professors and prestigious legal experts. The academic competition, organised in collaboration with the ELSA Madrid CUNEF student association and aimed at students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate Law degrees, is divided into two phases, in each of which two of the competing teams will argue a complex case, defending opposing positions.

CUNEF Universidad’s Moot Court Competition will come to an end next Wednesday, April 2, when the two finalist teams face each other to argue their position before the panel. These academic competitions, with strong international presence and significance, complement Law students’ legal education by enhancing their knowledge and their argumentation and oral reasoning skills.
