Biography
Ananyo Dan is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. His research areas include algebraic geometry, Hodge theory and singularity theory. He studies the topology of various geometric objects and how it behaves when I deform them. He has successfully applied for funding from FAPESP, CNPq, LMS. He has done postdocs at the Basque Centre for applied mathematics, Spain under Prof. Javier F. de Bobadilla and also at the University of Sheffield, U.K where he was funded by ERC and EPSRC grants, respectively. He finished his PhD from Humboldt Universitat zu Berlin, Germany funded by a DFG grant.
