BIO
Broadly defined, Professor Errasti is a theoretical high energy physicist. (ORCID: 0000-0003-0376-7402)
As a Principal Investigator at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Germany, she pursued an independent line of research focused on the dynamical stability of (quantum) field theories.
Previously, as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck Institut für Physik in Germany, she worked on non-linear (massive) electrodynamics, constraint algorithms and matrix models.
During her PhD at McGill University, in Canada, she focused on relating string theory and knot theory, while completing side-projects on various quantization techniques.
She has held nine Visiting Researcher positions in four countries and given 30+ talks in ten countries, including four plenary talks.
She has co-supervised three PhD (one ongoing) and two MSc students.
She has gained international recognition for her work on several occasions, including a Vera Rubin Fellowship awarded by the German Research Council, a bonus by the Max-Planck Society and four Grad Excellence Awards in Physics by McGill.
