BIO
He is a Professor of Corporate and Commercial Law (currently on leave of absence at the public University). He did his doctoral thesis at the Colegio de España in Bologna (Italy) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Harvard University (USA), where he also spent an additional year as Visiting Researcher. He was assistant professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Professor, first at the Universidad de Jaén, and later at the Universidad Autónoma on secondment.
He has also been a partner for twenty years at Clifford Chance, and head of the Spanish Corporate/ M&A practice for 8 years. He is currently still working for Clifford Chance as a consultant.
His professional and academic career has focused essentially on corporate law and securities market law.
