BIO
César Guevara has a BSc in Science, with a major in Information Systems and Science, from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas, Ecuador, and an MRes in Computer Science and a European PhD (cum laude) in Computer Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. He was a Visiting Researcher at the LIAAD Laboratory, Universidade do Porto, Portugal, and a Researcher at Universidad Indoamérica, Ecuador, where he was also the Head of the Mechatronics and Interactive Systems (MIST) Research Centre from 2018 to 2020. He worked at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT-CSIC) from 2021 to 2023. His research interests include the use of artificial intelligence to detect patterns of human behaviour and information leaks and intrusion in cybersecurity. Currently, he has more than 112 publications between articles and books in journals and conferences.
