Víctor Jiménez holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Summa Cum Laude, International Mention) and bachelor’s degrees in Biotechnology (University of Salamanca) and Mathematics (UNED), as well as a Master's in Teacher Training. He continued his training at the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), earning master's degrees in Molecular Bioengineering and Nanobiophysics.
During his time at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC), he specialized in biostatistics, omics data analysis, and machine learning, contributing to national and international projects and publishing in high-impact journals. He was awarded a Research Evaluation (Sexenio de Investigación) from ANECA for 2016–2021.
From 2024 to 2025, he served as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at UCAV, teaching biostatistics and data analysis and conducting interdisciplinary research in preventive medicine and public health. His career reflects a multidisciplinary approach integrating molecular biology, advanced statistics, and university-level teaching.
