Biography

Roi Naveiro is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad. PhD in Statistics from Universidad Complutense and Institute of Mathematical Sciences. His research has been recognized with the awards "Best Doctoral Thesis in Artificial Intelligence" from CSIC and "Best Contribution in Operations Research" from Fundación BBVA.

He has participated in more than five national and European research projects and has served as Principal Investigator in five industrial projects. He was a visiting researcher at Duke University (USA), holds a six-year research period (sexenio), and currently supervises a doctoral thesis. Additionally, he is coordinator of the Bayesian Inference Section of the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research.
