Eduardo Fernández Saiz holds a PhD in Mathematics with a specialisation in Differential Equations and Differential Geometry from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has done research stays at the University of Warsaw and Universidad de Burgos, and his research covers a range of topics, from differential equations and their underlying geometric structures to the algebraic formalism of stochastic processes; he has published articles in high-impact research journals. He is a member of the Geometry, Mechanics and Control research network, and has taught at various universities, gaining experience in different degrees (Physics and Mathematics, Computer Science and Mathematics, or Architecture, among others). He has supervised 23 final master’s dissertations and 14 teaching internships for a Master's Degree in Teaching. He is a member of the committee of the Mathematics Spring Contest held by the regional government of Madrid and has also participated in several scientific dissemination programs.
