BIO

Víctor M. Gómez Blanco is a lecturer of Economic History at CUNEF. He obtained his PhD in Economic History from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2021. Since then, he has worked as an associate researcher on the EFFORT project (ERC), a postdoctoral fellow in the Finance Department at Tilburg University, and an assistant professor in the Applied Economics Department at the University of Valencia. Additionally, he has been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute and the University of São Paulo, and is a fellow of Figuerola Institute.

His research focuses on finance, inequality, and economic development from a historical perspective. He has published articles in prestigious journals such as the Economic History Review.
