BIO

José Miguel Iturmendi Rubia has a Bachelor in Law form Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he graduated with an A in his final global exam in 1997. He subsequently completed various Master, Expert and Specialist programmes in different national and international institutions. He holds a PhD in Law from the Department of Philosophy of Law, Moral and Politics of Universidad Complutense de Madrid, earned in 2016 with an A Cum Laude and an Extraordinary Award for Doctorate Studies. He currently teaches as an Associate Professor at UCM School of Law, CUNEF and CU Cardenal Cisneros. He combines his teaching obligations with the practice of law, focusing on Criminal law, Child-related law and Data Protection. As a professor, he has delivered multiple conferences on Information Technology Law and Human Rights Law for various institutions, as well as several courses in different Master programmes.
