BIO

Isabel Maravall has a Double Bachelor in Law and Political Science and Public Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She earned a PhD in International Public Law from Universidad de Valencia and Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2017 and, in parallel, a Master in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford in 2018.

She has done several internships and research stays in different national and international organizations, enhancing her education and academic skills.

She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses and supervised numerous end-of-degree projects and master’s dissertations at different universities, participated in national and international conferences and seminars, and is the author of a monograph and several articles published in national and international journals.

Her research interests focus primarily on international law, international human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, and public law.
