BIO
David Medina has a PhD in Economics from Università di Padova, Italy. Before joining CUNEF, he worked as a researcher in the Department of Economic Theory and History at Universidad de Málaga. His research analyzes the incentives that affect the decisions made by politicians and bureaucrats. He also studies the main determinants of migration flows. Among the articles completed and pending publication are “Life pension and parliamentarian effort” and “The role of expectations of government turnover on bureaucratic corruption”. He has taught advanced microeconomics, macroeconomics and behavioral economics at the undergraduate level and microeconomics at the graduate level.
