Antoni-Ítalo de Moragas Sánchez is an Assistant Professor (on tenure track) in the Economics Department of CUNEF Universidad. He received his PhD in Economics in 2018 from the European University Institute under the supervision of Andrea Mattozzi and David K. Levine. Previously, he completed a Master in Economics at the same university, another at the Universidad de Barcelona, and a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics at the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. His research is framed within applied microeconomic theory, with a special focus on the study of decision making in environments with information asymmetry. He has authored several articles that are pending publication, including “Disclosing decision makers’ private interests”, “When experts agree: Why voters ignore experts’ consensus” and “Fake News, media competition and political accountability”. He currently teaches Microeconomics, and previously taught Mathematics, both at the European University Institute and at CUNEF.
