2022 Wolpertinger Annual Conference on Banking and Finance

CUNEF Universidad recently hosted the 2022 Wolpertinger Annual Conference, which was held on our campus from 31 August to 2 September. This conference, organised by the Wolpertinger Club, focuses on the discussion of recent research findings in the field of Banking Economics.

During the congress, over 60 researchers from leading European universities and research centres (Imperial College London, Università Roma Tre, ESCP Business School, Bocconi or the European Central Bank, among others) presented the results of their research in Banking. Especially relevant were the presentations given by José Manuel Campa, Chairperson of the European Banking Authority (EBA), and Professors José Luis Peydró (Imperial College London and Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and Thorsten Beck (European University Institute).

The success of this conference goes to show that there is a deep interest in financial and banking research and proves, once more, CUNEF Universidad’s commitment to leading the research in this field.
