Over 400 graduates took part in this year’s Annual CUNEF Alumni Meeting

  • The alumni association presented the lawyer Pedro Pérez-Llorca with the 6th CUNEF Alumni Professional Achievement Award.

Over 400 CUNEF graduates took part in the 2022 Annual CUNEF Alumni Meeting held last Wednesday, 23 November at the Hyatt Regency Hesperia Hotel in Madrid. Apart from CUNEF alumni, the event was attended by José Luis Martínez Almeida, Mayor of Madrid; Alejandra Kindelán, President of the Spanish Banking Association; and members of the management team, the Board of Administrations and the Advisory Board of CUNEF Universidad.

After the welcome speech delivered by Francisco Cereceda, President of CUNEF Alumni, the Rector of CUNEF Universidad, Ana Isabel Fernández, encouraged the University and its alumni to keep working together. Following the Rector’s speech, Francisco Cereceda presented the lawyer Pedro Pérez-Llorca, a prominent alumnus of the class of 1991, with the 6th CUNEF Alumni Professional Achievement Award.

The event closed with a conversation between the president of CUNEF Alumni and the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, who elaborated on the main challenges he has had to face as mayor of the capital of Spain, including dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
