CUNEF Universidad and BME sign an agreement to expand Braindex’s training offering
February 17, 2022
CUNEF Universidad and BME announced a collaboration agreement today at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace whereby Braindex, BME’s 100% online financial training platform, will expand its academic offering to include a series of courses provided by CUNEF Universidad. This agreement provides Braindex users with access to CUNEF Universidad’s academic offering through a series of massive online open courses (MOOC). Today’s event was attended by Javier Hernani, CEO of BME, Ana Isabel Fernández, Rector of CUNEF Universidad and Director of CUNEF Affiliated Centre, and Enrique Castellanos, Director of the BME Institute.
Braindex, which was launched by BME in September, already offers 40 courses for different levels, designed to meet the needs of a wide range of users, from individuals who wish to acquire basic notions of financial markets to finance professionals looking to hone their skills. The courses are divided into the following categories: Financial Products and Markets, Industry Updates, Technology and Regulation applied to the financial industry. Over 320 users are training on Braindex, which offers high-quality financial training with all the advantages of the digital world.
In this first stage, the courses offered on Braindex by CUNEF Universidad will deal with crypto assets, public digital currencies, high-impact sustainable investments and regulatory compliance, among other issues, following the methodology and standards of existing Braindex courses.
Braindex thus consolidates its position as a window to the world that anyone, no matter where they are, can use to access high-quality financial training offered by prestigious faculty and institutions.
“We are very pleased with this agreement because it allows Braindex to expand its training offering. From the start, we knew that the BME Institute would not be the sole force behind this financial training platform, and a partner with CUNEF’s renown is wonderful news, as it bolsters our growth and allows us to promote financial training even further,” says Javier Hernani, CEO of BME.
Ana Isabel Fernández, Rector of CUNEF Universidad, says that “for CUNEF Universidad, using the Braindex financial training platform in cooperation with the BME Institute is an excellent opportunity to offer high-quality, rigorous, specialised training to provide the new skills and knowledge required to face the challenges that arise in an ever-changing environment.”
