CUNEF Universidad hosts the PRME Champions Awards

PRME Champions (Principles for Responsible Management Education Champions) is an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact and the Principles for Responsible Business Education (PRME) Initiative. This initiative is designed to engage a select group of leading higher education institutions that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to integrating the principles of social responsibility and sustainability into business education and research.

Institutions that are recognized as PRME Champions are committed to significantly advancing the corporate social responsibility and responsible business education agenda, and to serving as role models for other academic and research institutions around the world. These leading institutions in the field of business education are often pioneers in incorporating topics such as business ethics, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and responsible leadership into their study programs, research, and extracurricular activities.

CUNEF Universidad was chosen by the rest of the universities that make up this initiative to host the first face-to-face meeting of the 2024-2025 financial year, which was held between 13^th and 15^th March and in which around 50 representatives of universities from all over the world participated, such as: Goa Institute of Management in India, EGADE Business School in Mexico, College of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire and Seattle Pacific University in the USA, La Trobe Business School and Deakin University in Australia, University of Winchester, Keele Business School, University of Sussex and Loughborough University, Nottingham Business School in the United Kingdom, Audencia Business School in France or University of Cape Town in South Africa, among others.

Throughout these days, a series of workshops and activities related to the transformation in business education were carried out. In order to reflect on the role of the group in the face of the 2030 Agenda and how we can increasingly become protagonists of action, understanding the urgent context presented by the achievement of the SDGs.

For CUNEF Universidad it has been an honor to host this event and a recognition in the search for our commitment to the environment and society.
