Welcome Day for New-Entry Students

CUNEF Universidad welcomed its new-entry, first-year students, who will be starting their classes this Monday, 6 September, during the Welcome Day held at the Pirineos Campus, in compliance with all the necessary health measures.

The welcome ceremony included the participation of Prof. Adoración Álvaro Moya, Dean of the School of Business, Economics and Law, and Prof. Victoria López López, Director of the School of Engineering, as well as of Ms Macarena Gómez Pérez-Manzuco, Manager, Ms Patricia Enríquez Nistal, Director of International Relations, Careers and Institutional Accreditation, and Mr Javier Sánchez Hernández, Director of Technology and Information Systems.

In their speeches, the speakers pointed out the relevance of the journey that our students are about to embark upon this Monday, September 6, and the importance of working hard from day one, showing commitment and dedication, and striving to achieve an outstanding academic record that will benefit them professionally.

During the Welcome Day, the attendees had the chance to visit the campus and learn more about the calendar for academic year 2021-2022, academic regulations, the platform and all the technological tools available, and future opportunities in terms of international university mobility and internships. They also saw the Organisation and Contingency Plan, and all the anti-COVID, organisational and preventive measures, implemented in compliance with the guidelines issued by the Department of Health of the Community of Madrid.
