Professor Rusconi has always been interested in interdisciplinary research and its potential use in dealing with long-standing problems in science and technology. This is why he chose to work on mathematical modelling and simulation algorithms targeted at experimental applications, and eventually contribute to public health, industry, the environment and society.
He regularly works with experts in Quantum Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology and Mathematical Physics—theoreticians as experimentalists—on modelling polymerization reactions, quantum measurements and anti-cancer treatments, as well as on implementing the models and algorithms developed in high-performance computers.
