BIO
Professor Rusconi has always been interested in interdisciplinary research and its potential use in dealing with long-standing problems in science and technology. This is why he chose to work on mathematical modelling and simulation algorithms targeted at experimental applications, and eventually contribute to public health, industry, the environment and society.
During his career, he has been collaborating with the experts in Quantum Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biology and Mathematical Physics - as theoreticians as experimentalists - working on models for polymerization reactions, quantum measurements, anti-cancer treatments and terrestrial atmospheric chemistry, as well as on their implementation on high performance computers.
