BIO
Professor Sharma holds a PhD from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, specializing in commercial law and international trade. After graduating in Law from the University of Pune (India), she did her postgraduate studies in Commercial and Corporate law at Queen Mary University of London.
Her research focuses on international trade law applied to socio-economic development and its interrelationship with the field of competition law. She also researches on the implications of globalization on Human Rights from a corporate perspective.
She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of commercial law and international trade. She has also directed numerous undergraduate and master's thesis at different universities. Professor Sharma regularly participates in national and international conferences and seminars. She is co-editor of a book that analyzes how Indian cinema has shaped the country’s Human Rights framework.
